"Villa Tara is an exceptional accommodation; a historic building with character and unique charm. Very beautiful surroundings in the middle of nature. Very quiet location, yet well developed. Restaurants and shops within walking distance. The perfect place to relax and get to know Succhivo, Sant Angelo, Panza and Forio. "Kristian, the host, greeted me warmly as I was walking up the alley. He quickly grabbed my bag (which was very heavy) and proceeded to walk me to my room. He then led me upstairs to their rooftop patio and pulled out a paper tourist map and showed me all the sights and transportation options. I was only staying one night as I was joining a boat the next day so I didn’t have time to explore as much as I would’ve liked. The next morning was very windy and pouring down rain so I texted Kristian,...

"I had a wonderful stay at this cute and charming hotel! The staff members were excellent—friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect! It was centrally located in the heart of Forio, within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. It was also very convenient for getting around, with taxi, ferry, and bus pickup points nearby. Overall, a lovely experience, and I would definitely stay here again!"

Top Serrara Fontana Hotel Reviews

San Montano Resort & Spa

10/10 Excellent

"It was the most extraordinary place I ever visited!"

Hotel Loreley

8/10 Good

"Sant’Angelo is very cute but a little isolated as well. The bus goes to Caba Grado, after that it’s a system of golf cart, no cars. That said, the shuttle service (golf cart) that offers Loreley is fantastic. You just have to Whatapps them and they pick you up either Fumarole or Point info. It’s hilly there, hence so useful in the heat! We had an AC problem in our room the first night, it stopped working, we changed room at 3AM and no more issue. The staff is helpful there. The pool is very warm (probably heated by thermal) :) The breakfast is complete, served on their beautiful terrasse and very good! There are no little fridges in the rooms. The double bed are in fact two single bed put together (still comfortable). The only thing I’ll say is that there’s a strong smell of moisture/ humidity in the basement rooms/ although they have a nice terrasse."
