The place is great and amazing view. So easy to take great night walks. Only problem is the parking is very limited. So parking on the street might be needed. But the owners had been quick to respond to my texts and answer my questions.

Good family choice for Jeju Island visit.

Amazing stay, we checked in the hotel 10:30 p.m. late, the hotel was very thoughtful in providing key-entry information. The room is spacious, clean, comfortable with fast wifi. It has very safe and secured entry door in a quiet and safe neighborhood with beautiful view of the harbor. From our balcony, we were able to watch the sunrise. Wifi is fast and self-check process is very easy and good location with a lot of sites nearby for visit. Street parking is easy to find. We came here with our daughter and we all would stay here again.

The hotel itself was easy to find. There are 4 spots, 2 which are right in front of the other two. Meaning you would block the two parked in the back. This seems very inconvenient. We raised this concern via chat with the hotel in English, it didn't seem like they understood the point. We ended up having to park off-site, on a free parking lot. Room was spacious, looked clean. Basic comfort bed. When you enter the room you are hit with a heavy whiff of bleach. There's a common kitchen with washer (no dryer), the laundry we did came out smelling bad, even though we used the proper amount of detergent. Next time I would look to stay elsewhere in the area, there's plenty of options.

Had a room on sixth floor with amazing view of the bridge. Room was very spacious. The mattress is a bit on the hard side not like North American comfort.

솔동산스테이...완전 좋아요.

8인 가족여행시 적당한 숙소를 찾기 어려운데 방4개 각방에 욕실이 있고 싱글침대도 3개씩 있어 잠자리도 편했어요. 공용공간에서 같이 식사 가능하고 깨끗해서 좋았어요. 이곳은 4부부모임이나 가족여행시 좋을듯 합니다. 개인적으로 완전 만족했습니다.

여기저기 찾다가 결정을 했는데 청결상태도 좋고 관리가 정말 잘되고 있는 숙소였습니다. 4일째 일정때문에 다른 숙소로 이동했는데 가족들이 계속 솔동산 얘기만 하네요. 다음에 올땐 거리가 좀 멀어도 솔동산에서 일정을 마무리하고 싶습니다. 가족 여름 휴가 솔동산 덕분에 즐거웠습니다.

신혼여행 중 방문했습니다. 깔끔함과 조용함, 친절함 등은 좋습니다. 가성비도 매우 훌륭하다고 생각합니다. 대신 여행으로 오실 때 서귀포 올레시장과는 도보로는 약간의 거리가 있으니 참고하세요, 저희가 유독 더울 때 방문해서 조금 힘들게 느낀점도 있습니다. 주차장이 2x2, 총 4대로 넓은 편은 아니지만 주변에 그냥 주차해도 큰 문제는 없어 보입니다. 잘 쉬고 좋은 추억 만들어 갑니다 감사합니다.

I had a wonderful stay at the Dongwon Hotel this weekend. It was extremely clean, very comfortable, and conveniently located at the bottom of Lee Jung Seop Street. The room had outstanding air conditioning that could be made as cool as I wanted, a very comfortable bed, and a pristine bathroom. Checking in and out was very quick and easy. It was handy to walk up the street and visit many pubs and bars, like Jerry's, Cafe Mayb, Goofy Foot, Woodstock, and Jeju Beer Fountain. At the top of the street, about 15 minutes on foot, the Seogwipo Maeil Olle Market, is a fun place to get a snack or do some shopping. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again when I am next in Seogwipo to enjoy the nightlife.
