Seneca Vacation Rentals

"Not meant for families. Ice on 3rd and 5th flr only. Laundry on 7th. 1 out of six dryer was out of service. We had 4 dryers on. 2 dryers dried under an hour while the other 2 took 2.5+hours. It was an 80 degree day. We checked in around midnight. Set the thermostat for 65. The temperature on thermostat never dropped below 72 when we checked out at 12 noon. = to one very loooong sleepless night. Staff were mostly friendly. But they are very restricted on what they can help on. Don’t expect much. Definitely highly not recommended for families with young kids or elders. Notified staff on issues mentioned above. A fan was given to us. But see above for results. No ice on your level either. Signs were also missing. No sign on how to get to laundry after you arrive on the 7th floor. Decor was at doubletree level. The availability of amendments was designed so that you use as little as possible. A very stingy property."

"A beautiful hotel inside and out. I understand it’s the beginning of their busy season… But they need to refresh especially the outside seating and outside area. Also, I did have an unfortunate experience with a worker who I felt to be a little condescending. Otherwise a beautiful room. "

"The staff was very friendly and welcoming however we booked this hotel for the indoor pool. We asked the hours the pool was open upon checking in and were told 7am-10pm. With that being said we were excited to use the pool with our children. Friday evening, the pool was “closed” for a swim school. They allowed my children to swim in one very small section (after we made it a point that it was bs) and when they started acting like children (ex: laughing, yelling, jumping in the pool) the swim school “instructor” proceeded to scream at them very aggressively. It was completely uncalled for and not okay. Not a fun time for 3 7 year old boys. Then, the following morning our plan was to swim after breakfast before our plans for the day. Well, the pool was closed again for “swimming lessons”. They made it known and my children were only allowed in the hot tub. While I understand that a swim school “rented” the pool out, this should have been on the website at booking. The hours the pool are available to PAYING guests should be listed. I would not have stayed here if I knew the pool would be closed not one but twice within our 24 hour stay. "

"Reservation was for two queens — they only had King available. No one contacted us prior even though they indicated it was a known room issue. Very frustrating. Nothing was done to rectify the problem."

"This was a very large nice king bedroom suite with the terrace, which I enjoyed having the balcony the amenities were great. Everything was close by. I had a great time. I will be staying again."

"We waited at least 10 minutes for someone to show at the front desk. When he finally showed up, he did’nt even say sorry and neither say hello. He asked for the credit card and my driver licence, took the depot. We asked for some cue for restaurant around the hôtel, he said yes there are some! I had to ask him for name and direction otherwise, he would have not gave me any! At our departure at 6:15, no one showed up at the front desk for 15 minutes! We left the access card on the counter and left with the shuttle! At least, the shuttle driver was nice. The room was great. First, and last time at this hotel"

"I couldn't tell by the reviews how hard it would be to walk to the Metro. I'm my opinion, it's not a bad walk. It's a bit hilly and along. Major roads, but the steayk is large and week taken care of. The food in the restaurant was great, the pool was good enough and the rooms were clean"
