"Hotel was fine however I was not told that the kitchen for upstairs restaurant stopped serving food an hour before closing time. I had I known I would’ve gone to another restauran. Also, the server failed to mention that a gratuity of TWENTY PERCENT had already been added to my check for the single beer I ordered. I was ended up tipping 40% on a beer. One of my hair clips also went missing after my room was serviced on the first night. "

"Deceptive Photos & Poor Value – A Warning for Professionals I am extremely disappointed with my stay at The Hamilton. The marketing photos are completely deceiving. The room is tiny, congested, and has a very strong, unpleasant odor. It feels like an old, poorly maintained building rather than the premium experience advertised. To make matters worse, breakfast at Via Sophia is a total rip-off. I paid $24 (after a mandatory 18% tip and tax) for a tiny, shallow plate of oatmeal that wouldn't fill a child. Serving such small portions at these prices is insulting to professional travelers. The room smells, the food is overpriced, and the 'amenities' feel like a scam. Save your money and stay elsewhere."

"I accidentally booked for april 12. Upon trying to change it within minutes to March 29, I was unable to without being charged for both nights. An Expedia representative misrepresented to me that I would not be charged for April 12 before I booked for March 29. Accordingly, in reliance on that statement I booked March 29. Days later after I stayed on March 29, Expedia retracted their statement and said I would not be refunded. Terrible business practice, terrible customer service. No one to talk to. "
