There are not a lot of options or places to say before you hike down into Supai. This what? So Was the option we chose. The staff checks people in all day every day, and you could tell that this was definitely a job and not one that they necessarily enjoy. The check was robotic in the hotel and in. Supp registration Area. It is a dry desert. The room has a plug-in heater. The walls are thin in the water is teed at best when I was there was planning on taking a shower before hiking down and decided not to. It works though to stay the night and be closer to the Supai parking lot.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the inn our only disappointment was at the caverns were closed but that was our fault for not checking their website first.

We only stayed here out of convenience before and after our hike to Havasupai. We wish we stayed elsewhere after our trip but wasn’t sure how tired we’d be to drive extra. The place is very limited with what it has. I thought we’d have a microwave and fridge but it turns out we did not so a lot of food had to go to waste we got for the night. The caverns are closed because the elevator is broken. The room is super basic but you can’t expect much.

We loved our stay at the Grand Canyon Caverns Inn. This hotel feels like going back in time. It is a charming motel that represents times gone by. It felt like we stepped back into time to the 50’s. The staff were terrific! We enjoyed getting to know the manager Roxanne and Reggie with his contagious smile was heart warming. It was a perfect setting preparing us for our journey to Havasupai.

Very convenient for picking up our Havasupai camping permit. Cute, cheesy, slightly disheveled grounds and room, but just fine to meet up and organize our backpacking supplies.
