"The room was so uninhabitably disgusting I returned the key and left. I could not stay at that so-called hotel. The building should be condemned immediately. Please stay far, far away. The deadbolt swung open with the door because it was so loose. The door could not latch because the door jamb had been torn apart. Most likely from police breaking into the room. It was obviously some sort of drug den. There were so-called guests getting high outside their rooms right on the balcony. Massive, gaping holes in the walls and ceilings. Dirty towels from whoever was there last. Garbage on the floor. The beds were not real beds at all but prison style cots. There were no fitted sheets or blankets. You'd be better off sleeping under a bridge covered in newspaper than in this rubble heap.
The property managers ignore hotels.com customer service. They're counting on hotels.com siding with the property if there is no communication response in the event of a refund request.
Hotels.com should be ashamed of themselves for allowing bookings at places like this. With paint flaking off the walls and unfinished flooring this place is an absolute disgrace."
