Seaside hotel rooms a the Independent

"We had a top floor two bed suite and it had a full kitchenette! Michael the manager was amazing and they got a little basket for my daughter’s birthday weekend. Yes they are doing a full remodel but they let you know on this site and their site. And it’s during day hours. Did not effect our stay. We loved being able to walk out the back door right into the beach!! The indoor pool is 24hr for 15 an older. So that was nice. Definitely the go to place when we go back now. "

"The room was clean, the front desk people were so nice, and it was a great value. The area felt safe, and the river view was nice. The parking had only 1 way in and out, but the spots were directional, which made it hard to get out if the lot was full. We struggled to find a spot if we came back late. It might have been my bad, but I found it strange that the staff had me grab towels to exchange and other items. I would've rather they just asked to come in and do their thing."
