"Having been fortunate enough to travel quite a bit over the years, I’ve stayed in my share of hotels. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed that since COVID, the hospitality experience has changed in many places. Too often, it seems the focus has shifted away from guest comfort and genuine customer service. I’ve encountered rooms that were less than clean, overlooked details, and an overall lack of attention to the little things that make a stay enjoyable. That all changed this weekend at the Garrison Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. The staff was absolutely wonderful, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely accommodating. It was such a pleasure to walk into a hotel that had embraced the Halloween season with beautiful, tasteful decorations. It immediately made the atmosphere feel warm and inviting. The attention to detail in the room was equally impressive. Everything was immaculate, neat, and well cared for. Bottled water, disposable slippers, a toothbrush, and those thoughtful little extras that make you feel that someone has actually considered the comfort of their guests. Most importantly, the hospitality was genuine. They made both my grandson and me feel welcome and special throughout our stay. I can honestly say this was one of the most comfortable and enjoyable hotel experiences I’ve had in a very long time. "We enjoyed our stay, the Inn was quaint, the staff was very friendly and they made us feel very welcomed. We ate supper at the restaurant and lived our food. Everyone in our group enjoyed the complementary breakfast . Would love to go back!"

"Our room was clean. Its definitely an old building so things are going to be dated. The bathroom is "things". I brought my own cleaning bag because im OCD. I'm glad I did. I feel like the fixtures are a lot shinier after I got a hold of them. The water pressure was awesome and it was super hot!! The beds were comfy and lots of pillows. I would like to see a blanket in the room for us "Northern Mainers" 😁 Its a bit cool by the ocean in October. All in all, not a bad place at all. I'd stay again!!!"

"We stayed here overnight after the first hotel we booked had to cancel our reservation and I am so glad we came here instead. The property is clean, very nice and relaxing. It’s very close to the beach and other area attractions. Parking for guests is available. Wifi is strong. I would stay here again."
