"Beautiful property and area, right next to Exeter Academy. As a public school graduate from the Midwest, I felt like I didn’t belong in the area, let alone this property, but the staff made us feel extremely welcome. They were so nice and seemed to enjoy their jobs. The breakfast spread was one of the best I’ve ever had. I would come here again in a heartbeat if I’m ever even close to the area."
"This is a cute little inn. The pictures don’t match up the property 100%, it’s definitely dated from the time of the photos, but still not bad! The beds were comfy , and the room was clean! The price was perfect for a little trip to Salem and close to the train station!"
"I had a wonderful stay at Lamie’s Inn and really enjoyed the experience. The inn has a charming, rustic New England atmosphere, and you can tell it has a lot of history. Despite its older, traditional character, my room was very clean, tidy, and comfortable. I slept really well and felt at home during my stay.
The Old Salt Restaurant, which is conveniently accessible through the inn’s front desk area, was another highlight. I had a lobster roll and an apple cider for dinner, and both were delicious. Breakfast was included with my stay and served in the restaurant’s bar area. There was a good variety of options to choose from, making it a great way to start the day.
Overall, I really enjoyed the combination of historic charm, comfortable accommodations, and delicious food. I would definitely recommend Lamie’s Inn to anyone looking for a cozy New England inn with a great restaurant."
"Great room! We stayed in the king suite and it was fabulous. The only thing that needs upgrading is the lobby bar. Bar needs martini glasses and needs to know how to make a cosmo (a pretty common drink)"
