Scottish Highlands hotel rooms a the Strathmore Hotels

"Friendly staff. Bathroom was not the cleanest when we got there but we were offered another room. Wish there had been a hair dryer provided. Overall the location was perfect and the room was comfortable. "

"Bedroom was excellent, where the hotel falls down was the lounge area which lacked atmosphere and although you could purchase drinks, there was no bar…. and you were unable to see the staff pour. Tables and chairs very tightly packed together and not the most relaxing. Breakfast had a great choice of food but again tables very close together not much room to move between them. Staff were very friendly and pleasant."

"Nice welcome, and ideally placed for being in the town. Room was good, clean and worked well for us. Breakfast was just okay, possibly would have been better but we followed a very large group. Would use it again without hesitation. "

"Scrambled eggs were a touch watery. Tomatoes were just slightly warm. Could of had some well done fried eggs displayed First day pastries ran out"

"The hotel is beautiful and the staff really friendly. We tried different restaurants, all were good. The breakfast was good, everyone will find something. The gym is excellent, the pool is nice and warm, though too crowded and may be a bit small for the hotel size plus club members plus lodges. Due to the beautiful location it is complicated to get around without a car. "

"Rooms were clean and loved the individual ‘huts’. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was fresh. The only complaint that I would have is that we arrived at the resort after 7pm and they would not accommodate us for dinner. There was a couple that checked in minutes before us who had no issue. After a long day of travelling, this was frustrating."

"Enjoyed our stay at Atholl Palace. Very friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful room with amazing views. Great choice for breakfast. Will definitely return."
