"The location was good and very peaceful, but also close to the shopping area, which was nice. The staff were very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, the bed which was shown at the time of booking was different from the beds available when we reached the hotel. We booked at this hotel specifically because we thought there would be one whole, solid double bed. Instead, the bed was made of two single beds pushed together, with no mattress pad on top. "We stayed here for 4 nights with our 2 boys. We were recommended this place from a friend and it was perfect. We cycled every day and found some beautiful spots. We used the facilities for swimming and a drink at the bar. It was extremely quiet which was lovely"

"The hotel is in a quiet area just outside Groningen. Easy to reach by car and if you wish to visit the city centre the P+R is convenient. Car parking is free and plentiful. Our room had a balcony and views over the countryside. The room itself was spacious and spotless. The reception staff were polite friendly and knowledgeable. We had dinner on both nights of our stay in the restaurant which was in my opinion excellent. It offered a wide variety of dishes for a very reasonable cost. Again the staff were top class. If I am in the area again this hotel will be my go to. "

Apparently the hotel had just been renovated and the previous beds had been changed? Both of us have bad backs and sleeping on this sort of divided bed was absolutely horrible. So unfortunately, both of our backs were in a great deal of pain for the duration of our stay. "
