Photos online look old. They are renovated and clean in person. Located in beautiful grass field with Alps, the hotel has everything you need. I’m glad I found this hotel over others in the main town.

Beautiful property, wonderful food, and a kind staff. Be careful to ask for a room with a view. Our first room was in an attic with no view. For an upgrade fee, they were able to give us the amazing view we wanted in a different room.

Amazing views bad staff

It's an old hotel. off center need car for everything. the views are amazing it compassed the other disadvantages. The staff is grumpy and unfriendly, they probably needs reminder who is the customer, especially the restaurant manger, very aggressive.

This is a pleasing new, or renovated, property with a friendly staff at reception, a good housekeeper, an excellent breakfast, and located in beautiful surroundings. It was about 15 minutes, by bus, to the Berchtesgaden central train station, in one direction and about 15 minutes, by bus, to Konigsee. It took awhile to understand the bus schedules.

The room was very unpleasant. Only rooftop windows, so we couldn’t see other than the sky. They charged 138 euros for breakfast for two days for two adults and two kids.

I could hear people outside my room in the corridors very clearly (poor sound insulation.). Food in the restaurant was not high quality. I asked where the public transportation (bus stop) was located and received a rude response. Cannot recommend this hotel.

We got a room that was really smelly of dog or dog pee. All the four of us felt the strong smell. We needed to leave after one night even if we booked for two nights and we were discounted only 20% for the second night. They offered to re-clean the room but the dog smell does not go away easily. Bad experience, not to repeat!

Incheckningen var lite märklig. Fick lite kommentarer om att vi inte anmält alla uppgifter i förhand som kommit som lite knappa tyska meddelanden i appen. Men vet inte ifall irritationen var mot oss eller bokningsbolaget. Inte bästa starten men ett rum fick vi iallafall. Det som är bra är utsikten och omgivningen. Och det fanns parkering och rummen var stora och rena. Mycket hårda sängar för den som gillar det, vi hade föredragit mjukare men antar att det är en smaksak. Ingen möjlighet att göra te eller kaffe kan vara bra att veta. Utöver incheckningen som blev en lite tråkig start så kanske det framförallt var värmen som var negativ. AC saknas så det kan vara bra att undvika att besöka under varma sommarmånader med upp mot 30 grader på rummet, vi hade utsikt mot en trafikerad väg så vi kunde inte vädra under natten. Sen var det fåglar som lät mycket men det kanske inte hotellet kan belastas för. Vi fick hålla dörr och fönster stängda iallafall för att kunna sova. Restaurangen var också en ganska märklig historia där vi kände oss som om vi trängde oss på, vi kände oss lite till besvär snarare än gäster. Kanske var det barnen som var ett irritationsmoment för personalen eller bara en dålig dag? Maten var ok men vi skulle inte äta där igen. Vi fick lite olika priser för frukosten så det kan vara värt att fråga flera och ta det lägsta priset. Vi åt frukost bara första dagen på hotellet.

Sehr schönes, kleines, in die Landschaft passendes Hotel. Das Zimmer und Bad war insgesamt toll, das Bett bequem und das Frühstück bot ein reichhaltiges und frisches Angebot. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das freundliche und hilfreiche Personal, sowie die super Busanbindung direkt vor der Türe. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
