Quaint, laid back hotel. Friendly Staff

Enjoyed the onsite restaurant for dinner and the breakfasts were amazing. This hotel is right across the street from a bus stop. Very convenient.

Highly recommended for good value

During the Christmas season hotels in the centre can be very expensive so this was a good value option with good transport links to the centre. We took a taxi once which was only €15 as well. Room was very comfortable and hotel bar area is lovely.

They require a deposit fee prior to arrival. Once you check in you pay for the full stay and the deposit is released 3-4 days after check out. They don’t tell you this prior to arrival. If you’re traveling on a budget be aware.

I didn't like that the room had no ironing board with iron, the sliding door from bathroom was hard to slide. Breakfast was mediocre.

I was disappointed by this hotel: - tired property - not terribly clean - a strange French corporate attempt at being "hip" which just doesn't work - a tiny room overlooking some kind of nightclub out the back - terrible plumbing à la française (water stank of algae and wasn't hot, flow of water was inadequate). Essentially this is like the McDonalds of hotels, but perhaps a forgotten, 30 year old McDonalds on a bad day. The evening staff was ok, friendly and gave great advice on where to eat in the area and so on. Morning staff was hopeless - rude almost (I asked if they had a comb - she looked at me as if I was from the moon; handed back my room key as I was leaving and the lady treated me as if I was doing a runner). At least the breakfast was ok. In short, I won't stay at the Ibis "styles" again, if I have a choice, and unless it's very cheap (which it wasn't).

Au petit déjeuner, c'était difficile de trouver ce qu'on voulait car chaque matin un car de touristes avait fait main-basse sur le buffet. Il fallait réclamer ce qui manquait au personnel débordé Mais les plats proposés etaient bons. La literie est bonne, mais on s'est demandé si les alèses n'etaient pas sources de transpiration. C'est vrai qu'on a eu deux jours tres chauds, mais le troisième jour plus frais on a quand-même transpiré...

Unterkunft ist am Rand Straßburg s gelegen und so ist das Zentrum fußläufig in 15 Min. zu erreichen. Es sind wunderschöne Parks zu erkunden, prunkvolle Gebäude zu bestaunen und man kann Bootstouren buchen und die Stadt auf dem Wasserweg kennenlernen. Shoppen geht gut in den kleinen Geschäften in der Altstadt oder in den Einkaufszentren. Bei schönem Wetter ideal für ein Wochenendtrip !

Tolle Atmosphäre am Abend, Sauber und Freundlich!

So eine tolle Atmosphäre beim Restaurant habe ich selten gesehen! Jung und alt sind am Spiele spielen die man da ausleihen kann, es hat aber auch Tischspiele. Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker, die Drinks auch. Sauber, sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich! Wir hatten ein etwas kälteres Zimmer, der Herr von der Bar hat dann die Regler für uns eingestellt und hat uns auch noch ein kleiner Ofen gebracht - top! Innerhalb kurzer Zeit war es warm. Unsere Freunde hatten von Anfang ein wärmeres Zimmer. Ich glaube bei uns war der Regler etwas kaputt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder! Alles Top!!
