Basic room, I was on the 3rd floor so noises from the bar were minimum. The toilet and shower were clean. I didn't like the pillow, too flat, but i had 2 as i was in a double room ( it seems those are the type of pillows they use here based in previous experience)

Check-in is not 24-hour as described. There are no tea-making facilities at all. No microwave. Not by the river as described. Reception and dining area is a smoky bar. No extra blankets available when requested. Rooms have no en-suite so we came across neighbour on corridor in his underpants only. Cobwebs in room and walls needed painting.

Wirklich positiv war die Lage mitten in der Innenstadt. Alles ist super zu Fuß zu erreichen. Aber alles andere war leider nicht so toll... Unten befindet sich eine Raucherkneipe, weswegen wir die Fenster im 2. Stock nicht öffnen konnten, sonst hätte es total gestunken. Das Zimmer, Etagen-WC und Etagen-Dusche sind spartanisch und alt. Aber am schlimmsten fand ich, dass seit gefühlt zwanzig Jahren keine Gesamtreinigung gemacht wurde. Bettwäsche und Waschbecken waren sauber. Aber in den Ecken stand der Dreck, an den Wänden waren Spinnweben & Staub, schmutzige Fenster, dreckige Wände im WC usw. Ich verstehe, wenn man kein Geld hat zu renovieren, aber auch Wände kann man mal abwischen oder mal überall gründlich putzen. Für das was es war, war es sehr teuer! Ich würde nicht nochmal buchen.

The accommodation is a little dated in places (some broken tiles in the shower and on the floor of the toilet). The double rooms have a spacious wardrobe, a practical washbasin, a small work desk and a TV. Unfortunately, the double room on my floor (2nd floor) had no lounge and no kitchen/fridge. It was a little too expensive for what was on offer.

Hotel has a bar on ground floor, people talking loud and smoking until 11pm which is a bit annoying. The cigarette smell goes into the room which is unpleasant for non-smoker. Then in the morning at 7am worker making delivery and also make a lot of noise. So actual quiet time is 8 hours per night only. Otherwise the room, toilet and shower area is normal for a hostel.

Das Hotel liegt sehr nahe am Bahnhof und mitten in der schönen Altstadt von Schaffhausen. Zum Einchecken muss man in eine Raucherkneipe gehen, aber oben im Zimmer war es sauber.

Sehr nette Begrüßung, das Zimmer war klein, aber für eine Nacht angemessen. Das Zimmer zur Straße war nachts sehr laut - ist nichts für Leute, die nachts ihren Schlaf brauchen.

Wenn man ein Doppelbett bucht, erwartet man auch eins. Und nicht 2 einzelbetten. Außerdem sollte in dem Zimmer mal öfters gereinigt werden als 1 tag in der Woche. Wir hatten schon fliegen im Müll.. Das gemeinschaftsbad hingegen war immer sauber. Zu dem hotel gehört eine Bar die 24 Stunden geöffnet hat, also wer ein Zimmer zur Straße raus hat das ist mit viel Lärm und lauter Musik verbunden. Das Frühstück ist für Schweizer Verhältnisse eher dürftig. Wir haben es einmal probiert und waren danach immer in Cafés.

Für 80,26 Euro ohne Frühstück, mitten in der Stadt Schaffhausen für ein Zweibettzimmer für 2 Personen und einer Übernachtung, scheint im ersten Moment viel. Wenn man die Preise kennt, für die Schweiz, dann ist es jedoch ein Schnäppchen! Das Zimmer war sauber, die Betten bequem. Ein Waschbecken ist im Zimmer, WC und Dusche auf dem Flur. Alles nicht neu, jedoch sauber und funktioniert wie es soll. Ein kleiner Aufzug erspart die enge Wendeltreppe hochzusteigen. Nachts ist es bei geöffneten Fenster sehr laut, da unter den Zimmern eine Bar ist. Bei geschlossenem Fenster, konnte ich super schlafen. Die Fahrräder können in der Nähe öffentlich abgestellt werden. Alles in Allem, sehr zufrieden!

Gefallen hat uns die unmittelbare Nähe zur Fussgängerzone. Nicht gefallen hat uns der schlechte Geruch im Zimmer, und dass es auf unserem Stock lediglich ein WC, jedoch keine Dusche hat.
