"The hotel was very good. Location was great, although if you're planning on walking to the waterfront, be prepared to walk up hill. Breakfast was better than expected, as it mentions "continental", but the hotel did offer a good selection. The room was big and the beds were comfortable. The extra sink station was a nice touch. A few minutes after we arrived in the room, we got a call from front desk asking if everything was ok or if we were missing anything, which I thought it was quite thoughtful. I don't remember any of the hotels that I stayed at before doing that. I would definitely stay there again."
"Room was clean and large. Hot breakfast was the best I have had. Inside parking is available, but access from hotel was difficult and confusing. There is plenty of outside, well lighted parking. Service was top notch.
I will stay here again on my next trip to Halifax."
"This was my second time visiting this hotel after a great experience the first time in 2022. The rooms are clean with comfy beds. The staff are fabulous. The restaurant is lovely -- with a couple of vegetarian options on the menu. It's amazing that this hotel has access to the shoreline of Chocolate Lake, and I love having the option to sit outside and enjoy the water. "
