"Room was clean, hotel was nice. Views were amazing. It’s outside of the town, you have to take a cable car up to Taormina. Very expensive for what you get. Very very noisy."
"Just had a wonderful week with my two adult children. Extremely beautiful hotel that lives up to all its glowing reviews. Lovely location with stunning views and a few minutes from central town and next to a park which is lovely to stroll through. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The only thing missing was a box of tissues in the rooms! Very quiet rooms, but the air con units are quite loud, but needed in the heat! The hotel food was excellent with delicious breakfasts (and beautifully served by Rita and the staff there) and the restaurant by the pool was fabulous for lunches. The staff throughout the hotel were amazingly kind and helpful and a special thanks to Rita and the man in the hotel bar who served us cocktails each evening.
For anyone that finds it hard to swim in cold water, the pool is not heated. I expect in the summer once it's been warmed up by the sun, it would be lovely. But it was freezing cold for us. Otherwise the mostly lovely stay and highly recommended!"
"Truly enjoyed my stay, the location was worth it as you aren’t in the middle of town but only a 5 minute walk to the cable car, however Isola Bella is front of you along with great restaurants. The staff was all so nice and they remembered your name to the point they treat you as they know you from before. The tote bag and slippers was a nice touch as well! Gabriele at the pool was the cherry on top of my stay. He was very attentive, made sure I never even had a chance to think “where is he I need a drink”. I didn’t even want to go to the beach as I was so comfortable at the pool. Breakfast with a view and a little bit of everything to eat. If you are renting a car, onsite parking is clutch!
Room was great and spacious , had beach view with patio. If you are a light sleeper I don’t suggest this room as you can here the cars at night but I just turned the tv on and was fine"
"This perfectly located bed and breakfast was incredible! Just a few blocks from via Umberto (shopping and dining), the cable car that transports you to Isola Bella and from the bus stop that transports you to the train station and the beach, it's the place to stay if you're relying on mass transportation! Additionally, the room was brand new, bright and clean! The staff, most notably Antonella was so very helpful and passionate in her profession creating for us a 48-hour agenda which included getting the most amazing pictures of Mt. Etna from a town three miles North, to reserving a 2-hour 10-person boat excursion from Naxos around Isola Bella and back, such a great day! Most notable was the extravagant daily breakfast (really felt like brunch!) with all the Sicilian favorites and friendly staff preparing fresh baked goods and stewed veggies and bruschetta right in front of us!"
