"This is one of my worst experiences ever with a hotel. The space is basically a scam, with most things under construction, unsanitary conditions, no drapes (with sunrise here at like 4:00am). I felt that if I slept in one of the super dirty spaces, I would have catched an eye infection. No staff to help, but only a chat on WhatsApp that never replied. No Wifi. The Hotel Ljubljana

"This is a wonderful hotel. Although situated in the old city it is a brand new property with all the comforts expected from a luxury hotel. The breakfast was wonderful--you order off the menu with several delicious choices included in the price. The restaurant is also top notch, but if you want something else there are numerous restaurants just a few meters away. The hotel was quiet except for the construction next door with occasional jackhammers. We enjoyed just walking around the car free area, or if so inclined it is a short walk to the castle. I thought the price was very low for what we got. Be aware that the hotel is in the car free zone so you have to walk about 3 blocks to get there from the taxi stand. We walked in from the bus stop which took about 20 minutes."

"Absolutely loved my stay. I was unlucky to end up in Ljubjlana during a heatwave which means the hotel came to my rescue a number of times because it was simply unbearable outside. The air conditioning was a game changer. The room was really spacious, very comfortable, giant bed, and the staff was extremely helpful at all times. The location is great as well, within walking distance from the main square and from the bus stop and train station. (Unrelated to the hotel but there were lots of works on the train station so plan accordingly). I loved this place and will definitely stay again. The only thing if I had to point anything, there’s not really a common area with a tv other than the bar which closes at 11pm and during the world cup it would have been nice to watch the games with more people which I wasn’t able to do"

"A great modern property to stay. Lovely breakfast. Great staff at the break service. Best place to stay if you are with children as it has a mall right behind. And easy to explore day trips without getting into city centre. Easy ride into city centre. And has convenient parking"
