Hotels near Savannah Municipal Golf Course

"Room was fine. Older motel but updated. Breakfast was good. Cleanliness not bad. Parking was fine. Text at 7:00 am on a Sunday morning about how to check out was NOT appreciated at that time! Also cleaner’s cart was very loud and pretty early. (Wheels on the rough surface). One woman at the desk didn’t seem to know what she was doing. I had done the pre-check in and she was doing it all again—why bother taking time to do pre-check then? Also had to call because they weren’t accepting credit card security on one room but accepted for other one? Had no other difficulties using that card. "

"A disappointing stay, we were hoping for cheap and cheerful. We got cheap! A non smoking room that smells quite musty, the room was not well maintained and needs a good clean. Thankfully we were only there for 2 nights on our road trip. "

"Dining area was very good, the breakfasts were good. They had everything we expected (I've stayed at Residence Inns many times over the years. There was one desk clerk that was great. I don't recall his name but he was working until 11 p.m. when we checked in on Friday...The others were pretty much on the 'blah' side. We never got housekeeping to clean out room, even once. We had a pile of dirty towels and washcloths by the shower that were never picked up. We asked at the desk twice and also called about room service and finally , on Sunday went to the desk and were furnished with some towels and wash cloths. We were there from Friday to Tuesday morning. ......."

"Do not stay here! First day: broken fridge, AC, and toilet- had to pack the family up and move rooms after 10 pm. Often nobody was at front desk. Housekeeping left 3 towels for 5 people. Dirty carpet everywhere, reek smell, 2 small cockroaches in the room. Pool is not at all what it looks like in photos (small & crowded). Men's bathroom out of order. The positives were location, room large enough to have a separate bedroom (very cramped still), and good coffee. One front desk worker was very friendly. They were obviously understaffed and some desk just stared instead of helping. "

"Housekeeping failed to secure my room door after servicing my room. Arrived several hours later to my room door open. Gentleman at front desk was pretty nonchalant about the entire situation. AC sounded like a 757 jet when it kicked on. Stayed 3 nights for work. Slept horribly between constant room doors slamming and the room above me continuously stomping around. People walking the banister talking loudly all hours of the night. The curtains didn't cover the entire window so it looked like daylight in the middle of the night...see pic attached. Do yourself a favor, sleep in your vehicle before paying for a room here. "
