"This is an excellent choice for seeing Saumur. It is in an old building with a lot of character. My room was large, with wooden beamed ceiling, tall windows that opened, and a limestone fireplace I wish I had in my home. Ensuite had shower and had plenty of space. Bed was comfortable. "Stayed one night. In my opinion, this property does not match the level of quality I usually associate with Best Western hotels in the US. The room felt outdated and could have been cleaner. The carpet was quite dirty, and the curtain was partially off the window when we arrived.. On the positive side, the room itself was spacious, there was plenty of street parking nearby, and the reception staff were very kind and welcoming."
