Broken and Missing

Pool was beautiful. Lots of shortcomings otherwise. A few examples: Secure lock on back entrance broken, ice machine broken, no soda in machine, bathroom fan made loud noise all night, no Kleenex available, breakfast terrible. No table space in room. Workmen blocking lobby and hallways.

It is a bit outdated. The top sheet was dirty. The room was cold when I got in the room and it took hours to get warm since I slept on top of the sheets.

Drains were clogged, very noisy bath fan, dirty carpets, Main floor ice machine has been out of service for 5 months. Doors and furniture were in very bad shape. I would not recommend this Days Inn to anyone!

I didn’t like the fact that I was told I wouldn’t be getting a refund even tho I only looked at the room and said no no way are we staying here. There was black mold on walls by the window. And you didn’t dare turn on the fan or heater not sure what would’ve blew out of it but there was crumbs and dog hair all over and the lady that checked us in was very unpleasant to us.

Clean but hot tub was out of order

The hotel was nice and clean and quiet. However I booked this hotel due to it having a hot tub. It was “out of order” but it worked. We were not allowed to use it because of a step when the railing to the pool was 10xworse.

Focus on small stuff you guys are almost there!

It was overall nice but up front didn’t have our name gave it to another person and literally disturbed them to say they messed up the rooms plus behind the tables and stands were a fair amount of garbage otherwise after all that it was nice

They said my card was declined. It wasn't even my card. So they tried to run the correct card. And sad it was declined as well. But my account was charged for the room. I will be contacting you for a reimbursement. Not happy at all.

Read reviews before booking. No breakfast (honeybuns & luke warm coffee) not as advertised. Broken ice machine. Hot tub not working. Heater dials in room not working had to plug in and unplug all night. Floor was cold and damp. Worst experience we’ve ever had at a Days Inn.

Both of our rooms were dirty. Had spider webs in different areas, walking on the floor it felt gross and sticky. Trash was thrown behind the night stand, and behind the television. The house cleaner was rude. Not a very good stay at that hotel. Next time we will go to a hampton or best western hotel. They are much cleaner

Our room was on the first floor (116) and upon arrival it was musty smelling. Thinking it was a temporary thing, we left to go shopping and bought some febreeze just incase and when we returned it was still musty smelling. The floor felt like moisture was in the carpet although it was not “wet”. Continental breakfast left something to be desired. It had orange juice in a box and a danish. We went out for breakfast.

The check in process was good except for the fact the guy at the front desk was telling everyone that they provided breakfast. Last time I checked, breakfast was more than bananas and individually wrapped mini danishes. Several others were disappointed as well. They did allow us a late checkout of one hour due to a boat tour we did but did not tell us our keycard would no longer work. We went down to the front desk and they reprogrammed the keycard. Went up to the room and it did not work, another trip downstairs! The owners apparently live onsite and their kids were running the halls.

Terrible service.

I called down to front desk for towels. They did not do stay over service. And front desk refused to leave the desk to bring fresh towels. I work for a major hotel chain and we bring towels to the room. She could have left the desk for 3 minutes. Since it was an inconvenience to not replace towels and coffee.

BED BUGS

The worst experience we have ever had with a hotel. Upon arrival, the building had a bad odor, and the air in our room did not work. When we tried to turn it on, it was stuck on heat and could not adjust. While getting ready for bed, we found BED BUGS! And like a lot of them. We demanded a refund, which the hotel did not want to comply with. When discussing this with the front desk attendant, he had told us that this is the third time he was putting that room out of service, and that the owner did not care and was not taking care of the issues properly. Would NEVER stay here again or recommend it at all.

I tried calling there to talk to the manager. I had by mistake booked in Sault Ste Marie MI instead of ON and of course we cant cross the border now. The manager was never in and the expedia rep tried calling there too.
