"Quiet, suburban area. Host was great, English not so good but neither was my Italian! Managed to communicate. Had breakfast the one morning and it was really good value for E7 each. 12 minute walk to the square. Some noise if guests are awake early but that’s to be expected in a B&B. Shutters on the window kept the room dark when sleeping. A/C worked well and was quiet when I switched the swing function off. Parking was fine."

Parking very easy, but the peculiarities of house numbering in Carrara make it difficult to find the B&B location, which is located not near #18 and behind another group of houses numbered 16. "Since the booking was made for the same day, I wasn’t able to select a higher-priced option that includes free cancellation. I booked this hotel by mistake, as the drive turned out to be too long and we wouldn’t be able to arrive before check-in time. I understand this was my error, but I tried to cancel the reservation within 30 minutes of booking, and the system didn’t allow it. I also attempted to reschedule for a later date, but that request was declined. I contacted both the hotel and Hotels.com, but haven’t been able to find a resolution. I would really appreciate it if the hotel could be a bit more flexible in a situation like this."
