"The manager in charge was friendly and very helpful. This motel is fair shape, I think they cater to the locals, they offer a weekly rate. For the price, it’s an okay place to stay. They require a security deposit when you check in and happily issue a credit at check out."

"Room was far from their tiki bar, but they had a DJ playing very loud music on the outside patio until 11PM. It was so loud, sounded like the speakers were outside our door. We called the front desk to complain and they said they couldn't do anything avout it."

"The building smells damp and moldy as soon as you walk in. The room was even worse smelling. Musty and moldy smelling throughout."

"the shower door didn’t close initially and had to bring it to the attention of the staff twice, the towel rack was falling apart, paint on the other towel holder. Only really hot water and no cold water in the shower and the sink "

"No continental breakfast, front office wouldn’t break a $100 dollar bill saying they can’t accept them. Was no hot water but they had a plumber en route. They gave us coupons for a free breakfast but we were leaving. We stayed at two different Hiltons in two states and both were no more than average. I’ll opt for something different in the future "

"I had a very frustrating stay at Flamingo Inn in Sarasota. At check-in, I told the front desk that I had a service dog, and they said it was fine. When I entered the room, it was extremely hot and the A/C was not working. I had to go back to the office, and the manager came to the room and got the A/C running. After I brought all my belongings inside and began cleaning the room with sanitize wipes because it looks so dirty and outdated, then I discovered there was no water. I had to return to the office again and requested another room. by that point, the front desk staff appeared irritated, and there was no apology for the inconvenience. I had to move all my belongings back out to the vehicle and into a second room. The next morning, a housekeeper approached me very aggressively while I was taking my leashed service dog outside with waste bags. She yelled that dogs were not allowed to go potty on the property, and that I should take my service dog to the dog park or the street to go potty, even though no one told me that at check-in. The interaction was rude and upsetting. Before leaving, I cleaned the room thoroughly and took out all of the trash and even asked the manager to inspect the room so there would be no misunderstandings. I also told him how upset I was by the housekeeper's behavior. But he just made excuses. The second room was better, but the poor service and the way I was treated over my service dog left a very bad impression. I would not stay there again."
