"Danae Villas is a beautiful property just outside the main town of Fira. In a largely residential road, it is around a 7 minute walk from the shops and restaurants (be warned of a steep hill!). The property has around 10 rooms. Mine was immaculately clean, with a comfortable bed and useful kitchenette, and opened out straight onto the pool side. The pool area is welcoming, with loungers, chairs and tables. Evi, the host, cannot do enough for you and was always at the end of the phone when I...
