"I’m not one to write reviews, but this hostel is the best I’ve stayed. Marina is so kind and polite. She made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. Marina also gave me recommendations for my trip to run smooth. I was lucky enough to have a whole room to myself. The rooms are well equipped and clean. Please look no further- book this hostel. You will not regret it."

"nice place to stay for a quick solo trip or a layover- the guy at the front office was really nice and help my luggage for me before and after checkout and also spent 30-45min explaining to me all the things to see and do while in santorini as well as the route to get to places needed."

"Hotel Kavallaris was excellent. Great location near the airport. Staff was extremely accommodating and communicative, providing clear instructions on checking in/out outside of regular hours. They even provided transfer to and from the airport with a great driver, and gave us a clear rundown on places and activities to do on the island. Would definitely recommend this place for an affordable first-time experience!"
"The view was spectacular. It was very convenient and welcoming to have breakfast brought to our deck every morning. The manager/concierge Georgia was very helpful finding restaurants, interesting places and arranging for things for us to do. For example, we went on a lovely sunset catamaran cruise . She made our stay extra special."
"The staff was very friendly and very helpful and the room is very clean and it is a great view
I love the breakfast, but had one bad experience during the week that I was there
For this reason, I can’t give them a full five stars"
"Our stay at Sunny Villas was nothing short of magical.
Perched on the cliffs of Imerovigli, the views were absolutely breathtaking. Waking up each morning to the caldera, the sparkling Aegean Sea, and those famous Santorini sunsets felt like living inside a postcard.
The staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive from the moment we arrived. Their kindness and hospitality made us feel less like guests and more like family. Every question was answered with a smile, and every interaction added to the experience.
Our room was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and perfectly positioned to take in the incredible scenery. Whether relaxing in the hot tub, enjoying a quiet morning coffee, or watching the sun disappear into the horizon, every moment felt special.
What made this stay unforgettable was the feeling of peace. Despite being in one of the most sought after destinations in the world, Sunny Villas offered a sense of calm, romance, and serenity that allowed us to truly disconnect and enjoy the beauty of Santorini.
Thank you to everyone at Sunny Villas for helping make my birthday trip so memorable. The views, the hospitality, and the experience will stay with me long after I’ve left Greece.
I would return in a heartbeat. 🇬🇷💙✨
“Some places you visit. Others leave a piece of themselves in your heart. Sunny Villas was one of those places.” 💙"
"Our experience at Akra Suites was terrible. We booked a 3-night stay for our anniversary, expecting a relaxing and peaceful vacation, but it became stressful and frustrating from the moment we arrived.
Within the first 10 minutes of checking into our room, we found bugs everywhere. There were bugs and flies on the bed, under the pillows, throughout the room, and around the private pool area. We literally spent our first 10 minutes cleaning instead of settling in and enjoying our vacation. It was disgusting and completely unacceptable.
We specifically booked a room with a private pool, but the pool was also filled with bugs, making it unpleasant and unusable. Because of the conditions, we immediately asked to check out and requested a refund. The staff member contacted the owner, but the owner refused to issue a refund despite the circumstances.
I would challenge the owner to spend a night in that room with their own family and see if they would find it acceptable. No guest should have to deal with these conditions, especially when paying premium prices for a vacation stay.
Instead of celebrating our anniversary and enjoying some peace of mind, we spent our time dealing with an issue that should never have existed in the first place. The property needs a deep cleaning and much better maintenance. We will never stay here again and cannot recommend it to others."
"We had an amazing time at Cresanto. Very friendly staff, immaculate rooms and pools, wonderful inclusive continental breakfast, beautiful rooms.location is ideal, very close to Fira and an amazing view."
"Absolute Bliss is an amazing resort. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Since there a lot of stairs, they carry your luggage down and up for you. You get to select what you want for breakfast and it is delivered at your requested time in the morning. We loved the omelettes and chocolate croissants. We stayed in the honeymoon suite and loved it. It was very spacious and clean. You have an amazing view of the Caldera cliffs especially from your personal balcony where you can enjoy your breakfast and the hot tub. They provide robes and slippers. The bed was on the firm side but comfortable for us. The location was perfect for us in between Oia and Fira. Imerovigli was much quieter and peaceful than Oia and Fira. I am so glad we picked this location. A taxi was about 35 euros to Oia, but there is also a bus stop nearby for a few euros. Our favorite restaurant was Mama Lena which was a short walk away. There tzatziki was amazing! We also ate at Le Moustache which is more expensive, but has an incredible view for sunset. The pool was excellent too and right off our room. I would highly recommend this resort and would definitely pick to stay here again! Thank you Absolute Bliss for a wonderful stay!!!"
Hostels are a great way to stay for a good value, so you can save your money for going out. You can check out this destination's cultural highlights, such as its churches, and the sunsets create an appealing natural setting.
