"La ubicación es realmente buena, a unas cuadras de la avenida principal. La habitación que tomé yo (Añil) es bastante sencilla pero con lo necesario para pasar una estancia agradable. Vale la pena destacar que esta habitación no tiene aire acondicionado, y en mayo que yo fui, el calor realmente puede ser un problema. "Ok, normally I never write reviews, but this place was amazing. Where do I began, Jessica, Isaac, and Caleb were all amazing, as was the young wait staff kid who brought me lemon daiquiris to my room whose name I can’t remember… lo siento! I had to check out of another place at 10:00, and they let me check in early, and because it’s a low season I got a room upgrade with the private pool facing directly down zipolite beach… amazing. Casa sol’s side is currently unoccupied, but I could still use their amenities (like their clothing option pool right over the waves of the little playa back there). They have a great complimentary breakfast every morning, they have a one hour beer and wine happy hour that is complimentary. The grounds are very well kept, it’s a gorgeous place, a nice walk down the hill and you are in town. The staff was quick with lunch orders, helped getting a massage scheduled in my room, scheduling me a taxi back to Escondido. For the cost that I paid, and the room that I got, along with the amazing service I received, I would definitely place it at the best value for a stay that I’ve ever gotten. Thank you all for the wonderful stay!"

"We had a great stay overall! Highlights included the exceptional staff, gorgeous sea views right off the beach, and the beautifully maintained grounds. A couple of small drawbacks: the pool water was consistently lukewarm and didn't offer a refreshing cool-down on hot days. The restaurant also disappointed us in terms of service and food quality for a four-star property and its high prices, though town has amazing local spots to eat instead. Despite these minor points, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again when back in Mazunte."

"The views and property itself is incredible. The staff are very friendly and helpful, most speak English so that helps a lot if your Spanish isn't great. Our only real letdown was that Expedia said this place was "all inclusive" and it is not. You pay as you go and the restaurant, at least during our time there, is only open thru lunch. Their food is amazing though and it's a shame they aren't open for dinner. The staff was very accommodating in helping us order food in and have it delivered. Options are limited in Puerto Angel though. Also of note: dogs. There are many dogs in the surrounding neighborhood and they bark all night long. Can be bad if you're expecting a full restful sleep. Overall great experience though and would recommend to anyone willing to get off the beaten path a bit."
