"Overall, the place was great. The staff was really humble and helpful; the general amenities were good and spacious; there’s a pool and breakfast buffet. The place is close to the main town but you’ll either need a car or find transportation. There is transportation available though (from the local services…). "Pollyanna, was really helpful even I didn’t speak any Portuguese. Helped me to book a tour at last minute. When I got transferred from Sao Luis and arrived around 8:30 am, she checked me in without any extra charge. Breakfast was really good with wonderful views on top floor of hotel. Had a great time there. "

"Quarto 23 foi um tragédia, cheio de rã saindo pelo ar-condicionado. Metade da hospedagem foi tentado dormir com a luz ligada com receio de uma rã pular na gente. Quando trocaram a gente, tardiamente, para outro quarto ficou tudo muito melhor. O café da manhã do primeiro dia tinha muita variedade, mas nos outros 4 dias pouca opção. "

"Matteus was an excellent concierge for all our tour and transport needs! He is one of two English-speaking persons in Santo Amaro. Surprisingly, most people did not speak Spanish either, so Matteus was especially important (and patient) at all hours for our needs. The hotel is very basic, as are all of the in-town options. "It was a short but pleasant stay. The staff and river view were notable, rooms were better than we expected and breakfast was fresh. We also loved the possibility to go down and swim in the river. The neighborhood seems edgy but we did not have any problem walking from the hotel to the city center."

"The staff is very friendly and very helpful. Especially, they sent welcome letter from WhatsApp, very responsive staff if you have any questions and tour arrangement. The only issue, the property is on unpaved road with deep sands, you need 4x4 or AWD vehicle or you will sink in the sand..my car got stuck in sand, made effort to pull out."
