The staff was absolutely amazing. Yvonne helped us in so many ways: arranging several taxis, suggesting things, and helping us with all of our concerns. She should be a head concierge at a 5 star hotel. Carolina was also wonderful, kind and thoughtful. The room is very old and there is street noise due to the cobblestones. But it was spacious. - a Junior Suite. Location is fantastic.

Lovely hotel in a lovely town

Easy to find the hotel and you can stop across the road to unload bags. Very friendly staff and the room was large, clean and very quiet. There were seating areas on each floor and the hotel was spotless with a nice bar area and outdoor seating. At the front of the hotel there were tables and chairs and a gazebo where we stayed to enjoy churros and chocolate from the bar. A lovely hotel in a lovely place and we will definitely be going back, both to the hotel and the town.

We knew that the hotel was a historic building, but quite honestly everything inside was more than historic and just old and completely dated. To start with the walls are pretty thin, there's no real place to put your luggage & the bathroom definitely needs an upgrade. In our case, the TV and the room phone ( looked like from the 1950s ) did not work and we were given a replacement remote which also did not work. Although the location is very conveniant , it may be worth spending a bit more and stay somewhere more upscale.

Beautiful historic building decorated with fantastic art. A real gem of a hotel. Rooms very well sized with large comfortable beds. Friendly staff and great location on town centre. Limited parking across road but large car park just down road. Very good value.

Magnificent decor. Super clean and friendly staff. They offer a breakfast buffet for a fee that worth the money. Great location to walk the entire town, santillana del Mar also close to the Caves of Altamira (Cuevas de Altamira). Lots of restaurants and small shops. It is a 10 of 10.
