"This was my second time coming to Secrets at this location. I came solo this time for 6 nights and had the most relaxing time. I booked a swim out pool/ room. 100% worth it. I enjoy people but also enjoy my quiet time and the swim out pool was perfect. I suggest bringing a small blow up floaty so you can just relax in the water. Food was great. The spa was amazing. Great location on the beach, which was quiet and calm when we were there. We did not swim in the pool but it looked nice. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Check in was quick and easy. The hotel is in the heart of Los Barriles and on the beach. They have a large pool. I would definitely get a pool/ocean view room. It is worth the extra $$$. The bed was a little soft for my liking. They have a cafe/coffee shop which has food and is open earlier in the day. They have a full bar/restaurant in the evenings as well as a little palapa bar right above the beach with a great view. We saw whales breaching and playing and rays jumping, all right out in front of the hotel. The staff were all super friendly, especially Leo. A couple of things to note. Our room did not have a microwave or coffee maker. Also the water pressure is a little light and the sink drained slow. But these are small things compared to all the great things about Playa Del Sol. We will most definitely stay here again. It is 2 blocks from the main streets and there are a ton of restaurants, bars, taco stands and grocery options within a few blocks. "
