"We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the Felicidad for our stay. The beautiful front doors were a welcome site and just a hint of what it was like inside. If you appreciate solid mahogany doors and woodwork you will love the Felicidad. The staff was courteous, polite , professional and accommodating. I hesitate to mention a couple of minor complaints but I think it's only fair. The breakfast was fairly simple but served in an area where road noise was very distracting. There was also a minor leak in one of the bathroom faucets. I can honestly say the minor complaints were only slight distractions compared to the beautiful vintage woodwork you will enjoy at the Felicidad. "

"I had a very enjoyable 3-day stay at Villa Angela last week. It's a beautiful house and an honor to be able to stay in just a historical space. The host was wonderful and gave us a tour of the house along with its history. The staff were very helpful--assisting me with getting laundry done and answering questions. The main room even has several books to browse on Vigan to learn more about the area, history, and culture. It was a memorable stay in this UNESCO World Heritage city."

"Giving this a four star for Excellent customer service from staff. Area is close to all amenities as you can easily walk or take local ride. Common area of this hostel is neat and tidy. You can take out food and enjoy it. No trash lying around. During my stay some guest are very noisy (slamming doors as they come in and out) disturbing neighbours who are still sleeping. Room needs a good cleaning and proper bedding to attract more people. Other than that, this hostel is still reasonable for the price you pay. "
