"Overpaid for a room and it had an additional charge of 25.00, that I wasn't aware of at booking. Room temperature was hard to keep consistent, so very little sleep."

"This is one of the BEST resorts I've ever stayed. We arrived early, about 11 a.m., and we were able to get our parking pass and pool pass and able to enjoy ALL amenities until our room was ready. The bar, pool and restaurant were all on point. Very Clean and staff was "Chick-fil-A" Happy Attitude and Helpful in EVEY way. Definitely stay here again in the near future."

"When we arrived, we were able to check in early; which was nice. Had a Jr. Suite. It was Memorial day weekend so we paid a lot more than it was worth. We Got to our room, the door stuck and was difficult to push open. The room was about 700 sq ft. Unfortunately, the TV in the living area didn't work. The carpet was a bit sticky. Halfway through our stay, the lights in the kitchenette area stopped working. I understand people love their pets and it's great that hotels recognize it; however, it's my opinion that people with pets should be housed in a specific part of the hotel. The beach access was good. The pool was also good but there was so many people the water was rather cloudy most of the time. Being that it is a Hilton hotel and rated "excellent" you'd expect the rooms to live up to the lobby area and be really nice. I was a little disappointed because we spent a hefty sum and felt like everything was overpriced, everywhere. They didn't even provide a bottle of water. The parking lot was small and seemed quite cramped. One would think parking would not cost $15 per night when you pay so much to stay. There certainly wasn't space for the number of rooms. Other then the negative, we still had a nice time with family."

"My family stayed two nights for a graduation trip for my son this past weekend. The stay started off great, the lady who checked us in was very helpful in making sure my two rooms were on the same floor, the hotel itself was very clean and amenities where great, however the second day was not so great! Two of our teenagers got stuck in the elevator, they called us in a panic as one of them is claustrophobic and scared of elevators. After trying to get help by pressing the help button on the elevator and no response, my son called 911 for help. While this was going on, in a panic I went to the front desk to see if there was anything I needed to do or where I needed to wait for my kids and she very rudely said "no the fire department is on their way, they are fine" My daughters also went to the front desk before me and asked what was going on and she accused the boys of causing the problem. She was very rude!! The fire department arrived and helped get them out of the elevator, which they had to climb out of. Front staff was also upset that my son called 911 bc "they would have to pay for it" Upon getting out of the elevator, they were accused of making it happen, I confronted the night manager who very little help. She did apologize for making that assumption though. Also, ANOTHER elevator also stopped working while my kids were being saved by the fire department. I asked to speak to a higher manager and was told he wouldn't be in until the next morning which I could"

"The room was really clean and sizable. We had the king bed with partial view. You had the bed area and a sitting area with an additional tv. The facility as a whole was clean and nice. The breakfast was ok for a continental breakfast, can’t go wrong with waffles. The only negative was the pool was really small but we knew that ahead of time based on pictures. Our little still had the best time in it. We LOVED that we were directly on the beach making the trek from our vehicle to the sand with all the things super easy."

"Our room was clean and we had a nice view of the gulf. Other than the noise from the dinging of the elevator, we enjoyed our stay. The beach access was nice but awkward to have to walk through the restaurant in the evenings. The pizza place by the pool was great! Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking is easy."

"The staff at the front desk was NOT friendly or accommodating but the cleaning staff were very nice and friendly. There were two laundry rooms in my building and BOTH were out of service. We had to walk two buildings over. We had the give view suite so we had a lotWe stayed 4 nights and the suite with kitchen. The first few nights seemed fine but we saw small roaches the 3rd night - but they did send someone to spray immediately. What saved the entire trip was the amazing view and literally steps to the beach."
