"We were in town for a concert at Sonoma State but ended up going to the Hot Air Balloon Fest at the fairgrounds, as well, since it fell on the same weekend. SSU was about 15 minutes away and the fair grounds was roughly a mile down the street. The location of The Astro is perfect. Right across from a beautiful little park (Juilliard) and the Luther Burbank Home and Gardens, and a short walking distance to downtown Santa Rosa. But the best part were really the property and staff. It is one of those unique places that puts details into everything. From the carefully chosen colors and furniture, to the beautiful grounds, perfect breakfast (including fresh fruit from their garden) and amazing staff. It will definitely be a place that we will return to. Thank you for a fabulous stay!"
