The Lodge 30A

"We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Lodge 30A. Front desk staff was very welcoming, room was fantastic. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom. Only down side were the two barking dogs staying across the hall from us. They kept us up most of the night. It was probably more the owners fault then the dogs though. Next visit I ll ask to be in a room away from people traveling with pets."

"Loved recent stay here. The location cant be beat for walking to the beach or quickly going elsewhere in the 30A communities. The paved bike path is also right there. The coffee shop now called Raw and Juicy next door has excellent food and is quite popular. Our room was clean and well stocked with towels, beach towels, blankets, etc. The only negative for us was not paying to attention to one detail. The full kitchen was great but it is shared with another room. The common entry to the two rooms is through the kitchen. Just a little awkward. The property has two main buildings and our room was upstairs in the older building so of course it feels a little dated if use to very modern rooms. Suspect rooms in newer building more modern. The large chairs on front porch were great for sitting out even when raining. We liked the convenience of renting an umbrella and beach chairs set up for use right at the water line on Gulf. The Black Bear Bakery and coffee shop opening at 7 am just up the road was our go to spot. Definitely stay again."

"Communicating with the rental property wasn’t good, didn’t receive check in information and had to call multiple times to get different access codes. The property itself was clean and very nice and the beach was private and well maintained. Onsite property management was helpful."
