Good base if you want to explore the old town.

The hotel is very unusual in that your breakfast is taken at one long table which is situated in the courtyard by the plunge pool but with a very long time slot in which you can have breakfast - you can manage to eat alone if you are so inclined. Our room was very clean and the bed comfortable and our only bad comments were that there was only one mirror which was in the bathroom which made getting ready when there is two of you a bit of a chore and also the rain style shower head only gushed water from one side - which we did report but no action was taken. But the place was clean and the staff were so welcoming. The loud country and western music in the afternoon could be annoying but Columbia is so full of music and noise all the time so what is a bit of country and western!

Excelente relax hotel cerca del mar

Excelente en todo salvo desayuno. El desayuno es bueno pero demasiado básico y escueto. Sería bueno contar con llave de entrada al acceso principal pues hay que llamar cada vez al sereno para que abra la puerta. Por lo demas, excelente en terminos se ubicación, limpieza, comodidad, acceso a internet.

Aunque es un muy buen hotel, habíamos tenido la oportunidad de quedarnos en La Casa del Patio y fue mucho más bonita la habitación. Además, en la habitación brisa, que fue en la que nos hospedamos, se escucha el ruido de la calle y el domingo las campanas de la catedral nos levantaron a las 6:30am. El servicio y atención y fue excelente.

Great hotel, but avoid the room named Fuego

have stayed at this hotel twice, 2 days before a Lost City trek and 2 days after. The experience was not consistent, why I have made two separate reviews. This is the second stay, which was less enjoyable than the first. The key driver for this, was the room named Fuego. Despite being bigger and more expensive, it was on the ground floor, fairly dark and somewhat noisy during nighttime from the street. Additionally the wifi coverage was almost non-existing, why I had to spend most of the time in the common area to stay online. Very annoying for me and hence the rating of 3. Regarding the other elements, please see my other review of the same hotel.

Great atmosphere in small boutigue hotel

I have stayed at this hotel twice, 2 days before a Lost City trek and 2 days after. The experience was not consistent, why I have made two separate reviews. The first stay was very nice with a nice room at 1.st floor, good wifi/internet. The breakfast was great (select between many freshly cooked egg-dishes, fruit, granola etc.) and the service was friendly and as fast as you can expect in these parts of the world.

Hübsches kleines Hotel in der Altstadt

Wir waren in mehreren Xarm Hotels in Santa Marta, alle sind sehr schön eingerichtet, sauber, zentral gelegen und wirklich sehr empfehlenswert. In der Casa del Aqua sollte das Personal aber noch etwas an sich arbeiten, was Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft anbelangt. Ich kam nach einem Unfall humpelnd an und mein Mann musste das Gepäck alleine in unser Zimmer in den 3.Stock schleppen. Als sich herausstellte, dass mein Fuß gebrochen ist, sorgten zuvorkommende Mitarbeiterinnen des Nachbarhotels, das zur selben Gruppe gehört, dafür, dass wir ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss bekommen - das war wirklich sehr nett.

Hotel bien situé , acceuillant , classieux

Agreable surprise en arrivant , très bon acceuil , très bien situé dans le centre historique. Nous recommandons les chambres avec terrasse , piscine petite mais agréable au vu de la chaleur extérieure . Une amélioration à faire sur les petits déjeuners continentaux.

En realidad, la ubicación del hotel es buena (centrica) pero la zona es fea y sucia. El hotel tiene bonita decoración pero es dificil de ubicar. En los servicios ellos describen el traslado al aeropuerto pero como solo cuentan con 1 vehiculo que lo utiliza también su otro hotel, la disponibilidad es escasa, por lo que deberían especificar que el servicio depende de la disponibilidad. Ademas, al momento de reservar indica que el desayuno es buffet pero en realidad es un desayuno basico.

Great location!

This is my second stay with the Xarm group of boutique hotels. Very simular experience with very helpful and friendly staff. When I stayed there they were in the process of completing some repairs so my water was intermittent and The TV in my room was out of service. However the staff were so accomidating that the customer service easily made up for any small inconveniences. You actually check in at La Casa Del Farol which is just across the street. The breakfasts they prepare for you were a solid 10 out of 10. The hotel is secure and you are always greeted with a smile. Rooms are cleaned each day and beds made up. This hotel chain represents very well and the staff they hire are really focused on the customer.
