The Hotel is close to the beach and Parque Los Novios! Plenty Restaurants options close. Excellent Costumer Services. They need to improve the hotel breakfast!! Not very good.

Sejour à Santa Marta.

Hotel boutique dans le centre historique de Santa Marta. Situé à une centaine de mètres de la mer qui est visible depuis la terrasse. Bon rapport qualité-prix. Le seul problème, mais assez fréquent dans les vieux bâtiments en Colombie, les chambres ne sont pas très lumineuses car donnant sur un patio intérieur.

expensive run down hotel

It is waaay too expensive for what it is. Everything is run down. Looks like they haven't maintained it for years. Also very dirty. We found a gigantic cockroach, a spider, and many ants in our room. The staff is OK. The bartender is great and speaks perfect English. Also, they try to scam you with tours. During breakfast a rude employee lied to us we couldn't get to Tayrona by car because of a road closure and the only way to get there was by boat with him.

This hotel gets 5 stars for the staff, who were friendly, helpful, and caring. They definitely do everything they can to make your stay pleasant. Our room was clean and comfortable and was cleaned every day. This is definitely a quaint old colonial style building, that is very quirky. The location is less than a block from the beach and very convenient for many restaurants. The only cons are the overuse of fake flowers everywhere, and the breakfast that gets pretty boring after a couple of days. But overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would return if we ever revisit Santa Marta.

Super dakterras en ligging

Gek genoeg wordt dit hotel wat lager gewaardeerd op de site dan een aantal veel duurdere. Wij hebben er 5 uitgetest en deze was de goedkoopste en de beste. Het dakterras met name is sfeervol ingericht met een heerlijk zwembadje en een goed uitgeruste bar. Uitzicht op zee. Het bed van de standaardpakket is wat smal voor 2 grote mensen, maar de kamer is verder prima voor dat geld. Douchewater is lauw. Personeel slooft zich geweldig uit voor je. Ontbijt is standaard zoals overal. 2 minuten lopen naar het niet al te schone strandje en veel restaurants. Een paar grote en luxe kamers zijn er ook voor 22 euro meer. Aanrader!
