"Great location on Seawall Blvd with easy access to the beach, local restaurants and the Strand. Garage parking available for reasonable daily fee. Breakfast was standard hotel fare but coffee available in lobby all day. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful."

"It was such a beautiful hotel they just need to be more informative and clear about and extra charges resort fee and 1st night fee of $40 for parking, we were told it was $20. But other then that room amd staff are always professional and kind. "

"Our recent three-night stay at the The San Luis Resort was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this property takes incredible pride in every detail. The grounds were absolutely immaculate — beautifully manicured grass, vibrant flowers, perfectly maintained shrubs, and gorgeous landscaping throughout the entire resort. Every corner felt luxurious, relaxing, and thoughtfully cared for. One of our favorite touches was Phydias, the macaw in the main lobby, who greeted and interacted with us daily and added such a unique and memorable charm to the experience. The pool area and lounging spaces were equally impressive — spotless, relaxing, and staffed by some of the most attentive and friendly employees we’ve encountered at any resort. The on-site dining at Blake’s Bistro was truly outstanding. We ate there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout our stay because the food was simply that good. Every dish tasted genuinely five-star — far beyond typical resort dining. From appetizers to entrées, every meal was fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. I intentionally ordered something different each time, and every single dish exceeded expectations. My wife and kids loved everything as well, making this an incredibly family-friendly destination. The location is also perfect. The Seawall and beach access are just minutes away, along with plenty of nearby restaurants and attractions."

"The staff at this property are the most friendly and helpful that I've come across! I have stayed here 3 times, and they are consistently polite and helpful, from the front desk to the restaurant, all are well trained and they SMILE! Any issues that I may have had with the property would be minimized by the amazing attitudes of the staff. The hotel is a bit older, but in good shape and well kept. The pool is very nice and the restaurants are all good. Rooms are comfy & mostly quiet."
