Right in front of the hotel there are lights that attract sharks, rays, sea lions, and fish, so you can sit at the restaurant with a drink or meal and watch wildlife right in front of you without leaving the hotel! "Ariana’s is excellent to stay in. The beds are super comfortable, the view from the kitchen area is great, the air conditioning worked great. Across the street is undeveloped land so we saw several new birds. It is a little over a mile to the harbor so if that’s more of a walk than you’d like, taxis are everywhere. All kinds of stores are within 2-3 blocks. We loved the neighborhood. "

"Slight problem with the room on arrival, having booked a family room, but we compromised since it was only for a night, and a sofa was made up to suit. Owners couldn’t have been more apologetic or indeed more helpful during our stay. The hotel is a little unusual in that it is made somewhat castle like, with quirky architecture - which incidentally was the reason we booked for the night. "Great hotel in good location. If you like to be away from the busy town life and be in the thick of the out doors this is definitely the place to stay. Only draw back you have to keep catching a taxi which will cost you $5 each trip to get something to eat in the main town as there’s nothing near you. "We stayed in the "2 bedroom suite" which isn't a great description since there is only 1 bedroom with a door. There are 2 double beds in the main room open to the kitchen and a single bed (and nothing else, no table no hook no anything) alone in the bedroom. I can't imagine who would want this setup but maybe they can't get a double past the built in bar to the bedroom. My son enjoyed his privacy.
