"Beautiful property surrounded by vineyards, Tuscan hills. All day you can hear birds singing and the smell of jasmine throughout the property. The host is attentive and kind, and prepared an incredible breakfast that you can enjoy indoors or on the terrace outdoors. My only regret is not staying for more nights! "

"Property is located in a gorgeous part of Tuscany’s Chinati region with beautiful views and surrounded by all the Tuscan country side has to offer - wine tastings, farms, restaurants and villages. Also only a 30 minute drive to Florence. Family (and

"The pictures of the interior of the hotel convey stateliness, but this is not a 4-star boutique hotel. It is an ageing property. Not shabby, but just old. The rooms have old paint and old fixtures and furnishings. (The room and the room safe were accessible with old-style keys rather than digital.) There was not enough horizontal space in the bathroom; I had to leave my shaving kit on the floor.
We had to be re-located from our triple room when a terribly foul odour started coming from the air...

"Property is beautiful everywhere you turn, straight out of a movie! Hotel is located at the top of a mountain and you get to over see the vineyards and cities., absolutely beautiful views. The only downside is the hotel only has 2 restaurants that offer diner and they alternate on which night they are opened, you also need reservations in advance and even then tables with a view are not guaranteed. "
