Overall, it was a great experience. The hotel is lovely, with excellent facilities and a very friendly staff. A couple of suggestions for improvement: The flies can be quite bothersome when sitting outside. While this is a common issue across Menorca, it would be helpful if the resort staff could take steps to minimize it within the property. The bedrooms could benefit from better soundproofing.

This is the second time we have been to the Occidental Menorca, Menorca Pueblo before. I have to say that the highlights of this hotel are the front desk staff and the close proximity to the beautiful Pinta Prima beach. The restaurant staff is not the best, cleaning around the restaurant areas was poor and restaurant staff disappointing. Food is good for a buffet. A bit disappointing as it was better the first time we visited.

Excellent

Overall great stay at Occidental. The food is delicious and the staff are lovely. There is a lot of emphasis put on the entertainment in the resort and most people seemed to love it however the music can be a bit overbearing when you are trying to relax at the pool.

Generally great with a few minor points.

Overall a great stay with just a few minor gripes. The room, general facilities (particularly for young kids), food and location are great. However service could be a bit better; our air conditioning wasn't working on the first day, but looked like it was. It took quite a serious and blunt discussion with the staff to take me seriously and to move us rooms. Also minor things like them not being to provide irons or ironing boards to the rooms, but sending you to the laundry to do it. These are small changes that could help. Also the food timings are a bit off for UK families. Breakfast starting at 8am and dinner at 1930 is very late for young kids! Overall we enjoyed our stay though.

Una mencion ESPECIALISIMA, al maravilloso equipo en cocina y camareros: Ruben, Ana, Josefina, Salud... (me encantaria nombrarlos a todos, porque lo merecen, pero no recuerdo tantos nombres!). Por favor, al equipo Barcelo: sigan cuidando al maravilloso staff, marcan la diferencia. Sobre todo cuidenlos porque tenemos claro que queremos volver el proximo año! Trop mauvais rapport qualité prix … dommage

Le buffet et votre personnel est vraiment très bien! Super réactif et professionnel! Parcontre ce sont tous les à côtés : Ce sont des petits gains que vous avez qui gâchent la qualite d un 4 étoiles: - Pas d échange de serviette de piscine journalier sans payant. Résultat: des balcons envahis de serviettes de toute sorte pour un visuel de bidonville - parking payant, presque rien 5€/jr mais justement c’est ridicule du coup il est à moitié vide et toutes les voitures se garent tout autour de l’hôtel sur les trottoirs - des cautions pour tout!: serviettes 10€/u / coffre 20€ / équipement sportif 40€ pour 2 raquettes - le bar des terrains de sport qui ferme à 17h alors qu’il fait 35 degré - de même pour les terrains: max 17/18h, peut on pas jouer à la fraîche en été? - pas d eau dans les chambres alors qu’on est en tout inclus? Ce ne sont que des petites économies qui gâchent l’expérience dans son ensemble… pour un séjour à 700€/nuit! vraiment dommage!

En el area del gimnasio, deberian vigilar que NO entren niños, si los padres no vigilan que alguien del personal lo haga de tanto en cuanto, fue muy molesto para los que estabamos ahi, con el consiguiente peligro de poderles hacerles daño. Por otra parte queremos comentar que en el tema de la animacion y actividades nos pareció fenomenal. Un10 para todos ellos.
