"This was my first time in this resort and I was impressed with everything. The grounds were beautiful the location perfect. Bike trails and dining options and shopping. The accommodations were perfect. The room had kitchenette with everything we needed. The view was truly the best and the water just what I remember as a child visiting Sanibel and Captiva. The check in process was seamless. They gave us info about the resort and the area which no other location does. It’s either electronic or using scanner codes. The stag was very friendly and accommodating! The beach guys for our chairs and umbrella were so pleasant and polite! So very rare to see. We ate at tiki bar and that too was excellent. We loved the tranquility and the privacy! Excellent for families or couples. I will definitely be returning to this resort. Thank you for a lovely stay."

"We had a lovely stay. I do feel it was somewhat overpriced. The previous week was priced $100 cheaper and I think that would be more appropriate. The rooms are very nice but not exceptionally luxurious and oh that cheap shampoo was brutal. Please, please provide conditioner!! Overall though it was really charming and we had a wonderful time. Shout-out to the coffee girl who decorated every cup. That was delightful."

"We would most definitely stay at this resort again. We had a wonderful time. The only thing that I wish was included was the beach chairs and umbrellas. It was wonderful to have beach access right off the screened in patio along with your own faucet right at the steps to clean the sand off before entering your suite. Top notch place."

"I generally try to avoid self check in places because it's a bit of a hassle with the online identity verification and all that but this place is worth it. Everything is newly renovated and charmingly decorated. A real effort has gone into making this place feel homey and comfortable. There is even a first aid kit!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Sanibel Siesta! The location is fabulous—right on the beach and easy driving access to all of Sanibel and Captiva Islands. Our hotel suite was clean and roomy with very comfortable beds. The decor is DATED…..didn’t look anything like the picture shown on the website—though the website did indicate that the rooms are all decorated differently…..was expecting a more updated suite overall. The other reason we rated this hotel as a 4 out of 5 is because there is some sort of “fake” air freshener smell throughout the whole suite. We did not care for the smell at all and we couldn’t locate the source of this odor. But overall, the location made our stay a great experience"
