"If you are a non-smoker, do yourself a favour and skip this place. The hotel uses central air conditioning and the rooms on the non-smoking floor (level 7) smell musky with a stale cigarette stench. We had 3 rooms in my group and all the rooms were the same even when we changed rooms. In addition, most of the service staff were non-Japanese, they could not communicate well and did not appear to be well trained and quite rude. "This is my best 2 nights stay in Sapporo, I got upgraded with higher levels and the room is clean and spacious (btw this hotel is the only one I noticed they have changed bed sheets and pillows cover for my 7 days family trip) and I was able to store my luggage 2 days before I checked in. Front desk is professional and friendly, btw I was able to do late check out cause wife wants to do some shopping thanks to IHG memberships. "
