Alvin is a short drive to the coast of Galveston. So if your looking for a place in an affordable price range this would be it. Hotels in Galveston area may be nice but are way over priced. "Stores were close by if you wanted to walk and they offered delivery if you just wanted to relax. The hotel has always felt like home because it has such a relaxing feeling about it. There is a tv in the lobby along with newspapers if you wanted to just relax there instead of your room. The breakfast room may only be opened from 6 am to 9 am but you can go in there at any time to get a coffee, which I took advantage of one night when I couldn’t sleep. "Here for Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour. This spot was just 20 mins away from NRG but the area was quiet (i thought it was) and pretty easy to navigate. I appreciated being able to check in online as I was driving in and knew I’d be getting in late. Room was perfect just for myself; parking was easy and there was plenty. Someone was always on staff at the desk which is always nice.
It was helpful to be right near a gas station as well!
This will be on my list of places to consider when I come back. "
