"My family and i stayed at RIU for 5 days during a funeral in Sept, even though it was such a short stay(unfortunately) but we were quite impress with the attention we received at Riu Montego from the staff who was exceptional, rooms clean and spacious and the food was wonderful, Thank you Riu! hope there was not too much damage from Mellissa if so a great recovery to you and Jamaica🇯🇲"

"I was staying at the Grand Palladium Jamaica resort during hurricane Melissa and staff tried to make the guest comfortable and they did their Best even know that Melissa was the worst Hurricane to hit the island . "Was actually at this resort during Hurricane Melissa. The staff was amazing. They provided service during the storm that went above and beyond. They continued to cook for us in spite of power outages and flooding. They stayed on hand putting guest’s priorities over their own. Highly recommend this resort as I will visit again. "

"I would say the hospitality from the entire work staff was impeccable, even though we were there at possibly the worst time in history during hurricane Melissa the staff made sure that everyone was safe and well taken care of outside of the fact of us not having any running water or air-conditioning. We had food and shelter. The resort also make sure logistically that everything was accommodated for."
