Sandstone hotel rooms a the Best Western

"This was my 4th visit to The Block. I love this place, with one exception, during my last 2 visits I have encounter front desk staff that seem unengaged with guests. When I interacted with the front desk I encountered blank stares and curt responses to any inquires vs. the enthusiastic, engaged staff that was previously common. "

"Entrance and first floor smelled like cattle. Bed was comfortable however the bed frame was poking out which we hit our legs on many times. Drywall was not completed around outlets or the water sprinklers. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. "

"The room was clean, staff very friendly, breakfast good different choices every day! They offered shuttle to vail without cost, that’s convenient because the parking there is paid until 4 pm. It’s just 10 min from vail, and also they have a shuttle to beaver creek. I would love to back there. Thank you, "

"The property was very clean and modern, and the staff was extremely helpful. The breakfast was very good, and the rooms were comfortable. The only minor downside was the pillows, which didn’t offer much support. Other than that, I would definitely stay there again."
