"The staff are always friendly and helpful and I was pleasantly surprised to see the entrance & car park had finally been resurfaced. The hotel itself and rooms could do with some TLC and upgrading although the beds are comfortable and it’s nice to get some complimentary biscuits. It’s in a handy place just off the motorway and prices are usually quite reasonable"

"I've stayed at this hotel on many occasions but I'm not sure I will again,in the past parking was free then last year there was a charge this time it shot up to £15 a night , the resteraunt has become very expensive mainly due to charging £6.50 for sides i.e fish and chips with chips as an extra, a basic bottle of wine £35 needless to say for the second and third nights of our stay we went elsewhere to eat.The staff as ale=ways very pleasant and professional. It's a shame the management now want to treat their customers as mugs. Without the sharp pricing practices I would have given a five star rating as Ihave done in the past."

"Stayed here for one night prior to attending an event in central Nottingham the next day. Only a short drive from the M1 and about 15 mins drive from Nottingham. Large free car park at the hotel. The hotel itself any my room were in excellent condition and very clean. Everything worked, all the staff were friendly and helpful and I was able to set myself up for the day with a good breakfast before I left."
