"First time in Sandakan and it was such a refreshing stay before heading to Kinabatangan. What really stood out was the warm, attentive, and informative staff who made everything so easy and welcoming. I also absolutely loved the pool, perfect for unwinding after a day out. A comfortable experience overall!"

"Perfectly located for the Sepilok orang utan and Borneo bear sanctuaries! Also the RDC! The hotel is set in a beautiful location and is full of stunning views! The owners were very welcoming and willing to share their passionate stories about the hotel! Breakfast was good - different on both mornings. Tasty and light food to set you up for the days! Dinner was also good - nice menu catering for everyone. The rooms are clean and simple - just how they should be in a rain forest! "

"This review is for the private room. Our room was nice with 1 Queen bed and a bunk bed. All beds had netting in good condition and the view was excellent. Our private bathroom was almost outdoors so that made for an immersive experience. Food was ok; the amount of protein was in some dishes very small and the menu never changed but it was cheap. Breakfast was included and was eggs, 2 white toasts and small amount of fruit. Plus tea or coffee. The big buts we’re maintenance;e.g. door latches...
