"good breakfast, friendly staff, room needs overhaul, but clean and functional"

"THIS IS NOT A 4 STAR MOTEL. Good: The bed was comfortable, pillows were great and the room size was large. The addition of a second sink was convenient. Bad: This is not a 4-star motel as advertised. The shower curtain did not contain the water, resulting in the bathroom floor flooding and creating a serious slip hazard. The toilet area was also surrounded by excess water and difficult to use after showering. The toiletries provided were inadequate—just one small shampoo/conditioner tube for two people over a two-night stay, along with a single small cake of soap to service both the hand basin and the shower. The seating in the room was poor quality, consisting of thin, metal outdoor-style chairs that were not comfortable for indoor use. Room servicing was also disappointing. We left at 9:30am and placed the “make up room” sign on the door, yet when we returned at 3:00pm the room had not been serviced. Upon enquiry, we were told we had left too late, and only minimal servicing (rubbish removal and fresh towels) would be done. In reality, the floor was not swept and the room was not cleaned or tidied. Additionally, the photos shown online are outdated and misleading. The communal sitting areas are dark and overgrown with vegetation, and the front of the property does not match advertised images, appearing neglected and cluttered, including a caravan at the front. It can be classified as False Adverising. "

"Decent stay but room for improvement. We recently stayed at Ingenia Holidays Lake Conjola, and overall, it was an average experience with a few areas that could be improved. The accommodation was generally clean, but we felt the rooms could have been maintained to a higher standard. One of the bedrooms with the bunk beds had no cooling system, which made it very uncomfortable for our kids to sleep at night due to the heat. Most facilities around the park were good, and the staff at the kiosk were friendly and knowledgeable, which we appreciated. However, during checkout, the reception staff didn’t ask how our stay was or engage with us at all, which felt a bit disappointing. The pool and play area also seemed outdated and in need of maintenance. Overall, it was an okay stay, but with some improvements—especially in room comfort, staff engagement, and facility upkeep—it could be much better. "

"Terrible 2 nights, never stay again. Was told room 8 but given room 9. Faced main road, no moutain view, noisy.larfe room but poor design. Carpets atrocious, heavily stained and fraying mats dangerous.sodden wet wall near unit entrance, no insect guard on door, smoke alarm not working,refrigerator iced up, bathroom floor/shower very slippery,(nearly fell over) bathroom vanity was a DIY job, very tiny vanity and sink clogged uo, slow draining, unfinished renovation to wall with some fixtures remaining,no face washers, no handtowels. Owner explained that people steal them so gave two fk8msy bathrowels instead, only 2 facial tissues in box,dirty mirror and surrounds wet, rust everwhere,"

"Clean and comfy stay, nice bush area very close to the creek to paddle on kayaks and lovely to meet the peacocks and chickens at your door. Staff were very friendly and promptly rang back when enquiries were left on voicemail, overall value for money and experience, "
