Ok, it’s not The Hilton. But it is secluded and private. Yes, you will have a bit of a drive to get to town, walking is out of the question. Don’t expect fluffy white towels and a stocked fridge. Not even a cooler. Yes, the dogs will probably bark at you, a lot. But they are quite harmless. If you keep your expectations low, you will be satisfied. In my unit out back there was a view of the Volcano, peace and quiet. ( I like that part). Ok, the power went off 3 times and the water shut off twice. I really enjoyed the sheep farmer who paraded his flock right beside me. Leaving a trail of sheep turds along the way. It was hilarious. Amenities? There isn’t any. The long and the short of it is, you only get what you pay for. The only part I wasn’t too keen on was the huge overflowing garbage can right in front of the unit. That wasn’t nice. I mean really, how much effort does it take to empty the trash?
