"Beautiful property to stay at. The grounds are very well maintained. Beautiful pool (unheated but nice and cool on a hot day!). Wonderful coffee shop. Very nice restaurant (I used for breakfasts).
The architecture of the newer buildings (restaurant, coffee shop, tea house) is really nice and modern and fits wonderfully in with the rustic feel and look of the old tobacco barns.
The guest rooms are nicely appointed, however they are old and need some maintenance to update them. I saw a couple...

"The property manager immediately made us feel welcome. The locale is quiet and scenic and the staff are attentive to questions and requests. There are many insects, some which gain access to the room easily. "

"If you looking for quiet stay, away from city, in the valley of the mountain region, with gorgeous view from patio/terrace, then Forest Guesthouse in Samoeng, is all you need.
Owners of facility live on property and cook amazing Thai food for guests. Owners speak English and willing to help to plan/book tours/activities according to your interest."
