"We recommend this hotel. While not a true older Victorian hotel its a great place. It was clean, had a great location (1 1/2 blocks from the gondola and on a quiet side street that still was walking distance to stores and restaurants) It also had a hot tub and a cool gas firepit in the side yard."

"As a returning guest, I was disappointed with this stay. I was placed on the bottom floor next to active construction, and the noise made it difficult to sleep. I can’t say why that room was assigned to me, but after my previous experience with the hotel, it left me feeling unwelcome. On my last visit, staff told me I couldn’t bring my service dog into the restaurant. When I went to the front desk to address it, Bruce yelled across the lobby while I was speaking with staff. I had hoped management would handle that concern more professionally, but this time I again found management unfriendly and somewhat stuck-up. The food at the hotel restaurant was disappointing and didn’t meet the standard I’d expect from the hotel. The back side of the building also has a lot of clutter on the balconies, which looks out of place. I do love the location, and the hot tubs are amazing—that’s why I’ve continued to stay here. But I wouldn’t book a first-floor room next to construction again, and the overall experience has made me reconsider returning."

"The continental breakfast left a lot to be desired. The coffee, which is a staple most places, was out of a machine instead of being brewed. That doesn't take much effort. The breakfast consisted of stale muffins and cold cereal. Otherwise the place was awsome."

"The gentlemen who greeted us upon arrival, ushered us to breakfast and helped us pack up our vehicle upon departure was phenomenal!!! He never missed a beat and was the most memorable host I have ever encountered at a hotel!!! The young gal who was putting out the food for breakfast was having a meltdown in front of customers and was speaking poorly of their staff who were preparing the food. It was not a good look. Overall, our stay was nice. Noise carried from room to room, so it was hard to sleep soundly between doors shutting, people talking, etc. The rooms were nice. The front lobby could use an upgrade (furniture, etc. was worn/dated)."

"We had a super time during our overnight visit. The Lodge is well located, easy to park and use the gondolas to get to mtn village and town. The restaurant is great. The pool/hot tub is fantastic. We came back after check out and a bike ride for a late lunch and hot tub on Sunday."
