Beach Hotels in San Marcos La Laguna, Sololá

"What an amazing hotel. It looks extraordinary from the lake, and the views from the hotel are incredible. We booked a suite with en suite and private balcony. It’s right at the top so many many many steps, but it was worth it. You need to fit and able to climb stairs to stay here, regardless of which room you have. We stayed 2 nights and got one clear day and one cloudy. If you get a clear day take advantage. Take photos, hire kayaks, swim. Our second day was cloudier. We walked for 5 mins along the lakeside dirt track to a bar called Indigo for more spectacular views and great food. Note that they added a 10% service charge on everything which is fine, but a bit off that they also added 10% to the room charge which was a bit naughty. But overall I’d highly recommend this place. You’ll never forget it. "
